- Deliver high quality, safety training with standardized content and emphasis on good client relations
- Inspect and maintain training equipment
- Supervise trainees
- Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times
- Observe control measures indicated by risk assessments
- Deliver only approved course content
- Follow all required procedures
- Deliver training in a manner sensitive to customers needs
- Use training check lists to deliver key skills
- Gain market & product feedback from clients
- Promote further use of products and services
- Use only approved reference copies of training documents
- Complete inspection forms and documents
- Ensure completion of client satisfaction quality forms
- Carry out regular rescue practice

- Maintain high standard of knowledge and techniques
- Be familiar with industry best practice for courses taught
- Understand legislation and principles of risk assessment
- Study and understand manufacturer's user instructions
- Be able to use learning objectives and assessment checklists

Ideally you will
- have previous work at height experience desired, former work in outdoor education or training delivery in other skills sectors (although not essential as training will be given)
- be able to ensure effective communication is achieved at all levels in particular with other team members
- can effectively represent the company, promoting a professional approach to your work
- have an active interest in continuing professional development
- be computer literate – i.e. familiar with PowerPoint (not essential as training will be given)
- be able to support, co-operate and work well with others to achieve common goals
