The Tower crane rescue evacuation training course is intended for people working with tower cranes who may be required to rescue a casualty from the cab or crane structure or a person who may be suspended on a lanyard after a fall. Complies with the requirements of Construction Plant-hire Association technical note TIN013 –‘Rescue of Personnel From Height on Tower Cranes’.
Candidates will learn how to use RescuePack CRD to rescue a casualty to the ground. The casualty can be raised and lowered using RescuePack to allow movement to a safe descent location.
Includes information on the selection of anchorages, safe descent path, casualty care and the need for correct handling of a casualty and the risks associated with a harness suspension.
Practical exercises include the use of a casualty harness and extension pole.

A self-certified statement of reasonable medical fitness will be required, prior to attendance.

Should be comfortable with exposure to heights
Competent in the use of PPE for work at height.
