overview
Training course for experienced BWEA approved WTG climbers who access and work in the wind turbine hub areas.

For the rescue of casualties from wind turbine generator hub or nacelle.

Provides sufficient knowledge to allow a person to work safely in hub (inc blade area) and yaw areas.

Safe systems of work, selection and inspection of equipment, correct use of tools, risk assessment, method statements and emergency procedures are included.

Evacuation and rescue using industry standard equipment in realistic environments.
medical requirements
Physical fitness with no contra-indications for working at height.
entry requirements
Must have BWEA approved WTG Climber certificate prior to attendance. (See WTG Climber Course ref TTS5U).

Must be fluent English speaker.

assessment method:  Assessment of candidates safety, competence and aptitude during practical work. Written test with multiple choice questions and discussion.
