Sit harnesses

Sit harnesses provide significant support to the legs and back for work carried out in suspension. Should not be used on their own in fall arrest situations.

Combination harnesses

Combination harnesses offer the best characteristics of both sit harnesses and full body fall arrest harnesses. They can be used for any fall protection method, e.g. fall arrest, work positioning, rope access.

Height safety fall arrest harnesses

Height safety fall arrest harnesses are not designed for extended periods of suspension. Full body harnesses may offer one or two attachment points - one each at the front and rear.

Rescue harnesses

For casualty use - designed to be quick to put on and adjust. Suitable for a wide range of body sizes.

Chest harnesses

For use in conjunction with sit harnesses. Chest harnesses may be able to combine with sit harnesses to form a full body harness if the correct connecting element is used.

Harnesses

As the link between the user and the safety system, the harness is a fundamental component of many methods of work at height.

A harness should offer comfort and freedom of movement to the worker, as well as good safety characteristics.
