Mountaineering style helmets are usually chosen for any situation where a considerable fall might occur - in tower climbing, for example.
In other siutations it might be desirable to be able to affix complementary PPE such as visors or eye protection, in which case industrial helmets might be appropriate.
Whatever the situation, helmets used for work at height must have additional side impact protection, according to either industrial or mountaineering standards. |
