Straightforward fall arrest system which includes a Nexus single point fall arrest safety harness and Tensor 1.75 m energy absorbing lanyard, terminated with a captive eye and high strength steel twistlock 50 kN karabiner.
This system is designed for use with permanent eyebolt anchors, or temporary anchors such as deadweights or slings.
Fall arrest equipment is normally placed at the lowest position of the hierarchy of fall protection. If possible, it is preferable to use equipment which prevents a fall.
Make sure all users of fall protection equipment are competent and the possibilty of rescue has been considered. |
