Rope access backup device and fall arrest rope grab. Can also be used as a positioning device. Can be attached direct to the harness or by a dynamic rope cowstail without the need for separate energy absorber. The Manta gives a short arrest distances for the user. Can be attached to the rope and removed at any point. Its soft cam action does not damage rope.
Constructed in alloy with durable stainless steel cams the Manta has been tested to EN 12841 and EN353-2 and successfully passed a drop test of 200Kg. Making the Manta suitable for two person rope access rescue situations.
