Commonly used for interconnections in fall arrest and rope access systems, the 8 mm steel standard screwlink offers high strength for its weight.
Screwlinks are much more secure than karabiners. We regard then as essential if there si any possibility that a connector could move befroe being loaded - e.g. between harness and fall arrest lanyard.
For connections which are not unfastened frequently during the day. Screwlinks must always be fully screwed shut during use. |
