| full height glazing |

The National Access and Rescue Centre has an unusual design, being surrounded on three sides by glazing running the full height of the building.
The interior is therefore very well lit and spacious, which increases the feeling of exposure for indoor courses which use apparatus which is exposed to height.
Glazed exteriors also provide useful experience of real working situations for courses designed specifically for work on buildings, e.g. rope access for window cleaning or fire service rope rescue. |
