indoor 25 m lattice tower for training mast and tower climbing and rescue from height
full height lattice tower
This indoor lattice tower is the centrepiece of the indoor facilities, and so far as we know is the only example of its type anywhere.

This apparatus is used in all tower climbing courses and for certain rope access and rescue training.

The top platform is located at a height of around 25 m and allows a good evaluation of whether candidates are suitable for work at height - some decline to climb to this point.

The tower is fitted with both fixed and flexible safety systems for access together with a range of eyebolts and other anchor points for rescue and rigging exercises.
