training for tower climbing using safety harness and lanyards
lightweight lattice tower
The lightweight tower is about 6 m high and is located on the first floor, adjacent to the main classroom.

It is used for initial instruction in work positioning equipment (pole belts) and the use of twin lanyards for climbing ladders or lattice structures.

The initial training for almost all work at height is usually done at ground level and this structure is ideal for learning basic principles of using harnesses and lanyards and how to move safely whilst remaining attached at all times.
